LADIES FESTIVAL WEEKEND 5^th - 7th OCTOBER 2007

Our Ladies’ Festival Weekend this year will again be held at The Wessex Hotel in Bournemouth from Friday 5th October 2007 until after Brunch on Sunday 7th October 2007.

As most of you know, all hotels require a minimum number of adults to attend for the whole weekend for their package rates to apply. The Wessex operates the lowest minimum number requirement and its prices are structured accordingly. This package continues to offer excellent value for money.

Although there should have been the inevitable year-on-year price increases, the good news is that last year our final total of Full Weekend Adults tipped us into and even lower price tranche than 2006  and resulted in a healthy boost to the Festival Fund. This means that, for this year, the Lodge is able to absorb the hotel increases and charge £35 less per person for the full weekend compared to last year.

It is still essential to maintain and hopefully increase our numbers and, therefore, we shall again be inviting our friends in other lodges to join us.

Last year, for a change, the entertainment on the Friday night was a Race Night Not only was this a huge success, but we also raised a large amount of money for charityand the Centeary fund, so there will be a Race Night again this year. A full programme of details for the weekend will be sent to you nearer the time and separate tickets will not be issued.
